Over 20 Years of CraftsmanshipSpring Valley Millwork was founded in March 2001 with backing from local builder Fiorino (Fred) Grande. But the story really starts years earlier, in the lumber yards and millwork shops where our core team first met and learned the trade.
By the time we opened Spring Valley Millwork's doors in Sinking Spring, we'd already spent years working together, building relationships throughout Berks County's construction industry, and learning what it takes to deliver quality millwork on a builder's timeline.
We started with a straightforward mission: provide custom stairs, trim, doors, and millwork with reliable service and fair pricing. More than two decades later, through economic ups and downs and changes in the industry, that's still what drives us every day.
Spring Valley Millwork is family-owned and family-run. You'll find multiple generations working together here, and that family mentality extends to how we treat our customers and partners. We've built long-term relationships with builders, home supply stores, and contractors across the region - some going back to before we even opened our doors.
Our team is what sets us apart. We have talented team members who've been with us since the early days. This isn't just a job for our team. Many of our crew go home and build cabinets in their own shops or work on woodworking projects for fun.
We're not here to just take your order and send you on your way. We're here to figure things out with you.
Got a tight basement space that needs stairs? A historic home that needs trim reproduced? An unusual specification that doesn't quite fit the standard catalog? That's the kind of challenge our team thrives on. We've been doing this long enough to know that every project has its quirks - and we're good at working through them.
Whether you're a builder managing dozens of homes or a homeowner tackling one renovation, you'll get the same attention to detail and commitment to finding the right solution.
